The 2020 Georgia Bulldogs football season was unlike any other. Shortened and reshaped by the COVID-19 pandemic, the SEC played a conference-only schedule, which meant traditional rivalries and non-conference games were scrapped. Most notably, Georgia did not face Georgia Tech for the first time since 1924, breaking nearly a century of uninterrupted matchups. Between empty stadiums, constant testing, and shuffled rosters (and a sporadic publishing schedule), it was a strange and unsettled year in Athens. The season itself will always be remembered more for the circumstances than the results.
